About

Darren was born in Noosa Hospital in 1968, son of pioneer builders, Lyn and Merv Magee. He lives in Sunshine Beach and was schooled in the Noosa Shire through his primary and high school years.

As most Sunshine Coast kids do, he gravitated towards the ocean and through that, travelled the world for 15 years as a professional surfer, enjoying success at national and international levels.

Once retired, Darren returned to the building industry, initially to keep fit, then secondly, through an interest in design, form and function of homes that Noosa has truly made her own.

Darren has worked from the ground up in a true sense as he commenced his second career less than ten years ago. Starting as a labourer, then carpenter and now a licensed supervisor and builder, he has had the priviledge to work alongside some of Noosa's best builders and subcontractors. Starting out with family builders, Kev and Marion Lindsay, who specialised in demolition and construction, as well as commercial maintenance, which proved a great base.

Darren , due to his diligence, work ethic and attention to detail was employed throughout the early years by many and varied builders within the greater Noosa area, past and present (and too many to list) to co ordinate jobs on their behalf was encouraged by industry suppliers and reps to embark on his own to see out his full potential as a stand alone contractor.

Through his tutorage he saw the importance of surrounding himself with quality staff, being fair and flexible and has made builder client relationships a corner stone of his own family based business.

All this body of work was guided by some of the coasts top architects, interior designers, draughtsmen, engineers and consultants.

Now with our own stable of arguably the best workers money can buy we have embarked on a new direction in our feild and we aim to deliver a new level of service to our valued clients.
