Modelling this empty space into a premises that would be compliant under council regulations, health department guidelines and food service standards served up a long list of challenges. The hydraulics,plumbing and drainage had to be upgraded and a false floor installed to conceal all the pipework required. Industrial vinyl with coved corners and edges then went in to make it easier to keep floors spotlessly clean. An array of industrial machines from Italy that are used to produce high quality gelato were then integrated with bespoke cabinetry to complete the internal fit out. Bright and vibrant signage ,spot lighting and improved access doors opened up the space for the public to enjoy. The result is a lovely space to relax in the Noosa Fair corso over a gelato or a coffee and the business has subsequently attracted a big following of customers who enjoy the space, the food and the owners great service daily.
